Teresa Tyszkiewicz was born in 1953 in Ciechanów, Poland. Her work includes photography, experimental film, drawing, performance, painting, 3D objects, and sculpture.

She is most known for her use of pins in various art projects, from pins being stuck to paper, linen, juxtaposed metal net, and contrasted with the image of the artist’s face. She describes her experimental films as “images of imagination in motion.” Her works exploring feminine sexuality are often connected to feminist art.

Teresa entered the art world through modeling for her husband Zdzisław Sosnowski. She has lived and worked in Paris since 1982.
