Romelo Pervolovici (Zorleni, 1956) is multimedia artist, curator and cultural manager. He exhibits internationally since the early 1990-s. Since 1995 he is a president of META Cultural Foundation and since 1998 member of 2META Group. He is director of the Young Artists’ Biennial. In 2007 and 2009 he was a member of the Commission for the Romanian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, and in 2009 and 2011 curator for Romanian artists for the ESSL Award. He lives and works in Bucharest, Romania.
