Igor Grubić, born in Zagreb in 1969, is a Croatian multimedia artist and performer. From 1997 until 1999 he studied Multimedia on the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. In 1999. he enrolled into the Academy of Drama in Zagreb, on the department of Multimedia. His works are highly socially engaged, merging art with political activity into artistic activism. In a form of site-specific interventions, video installations, actions in public space or informal conversations with common people and even prisoners, Grubić questions  human rights and  the contemporary political and global capitalistic system.
