Dragomir Ugren was born on  February, 17. l951 in Bosanska Krupa. He graduated in 1978 from the Painting Department in the class of Zoran Petrovic. Since 2002 he worked as a curator in the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Novi Sad that was in 2006 renamed the Museum of Contemporary Art. Ugren was chief editor of the visual arts magazine Projects(r)t since its foundation in  1993 till 2001. Throughout his work he stayed within minimalism.
